The St. Maarten Yacht Club is the home of the St. Maarten Regatta of which Heineken has been our faithful main sponsor for many years. Our regatta is known throughout the Caribbean and indeed the world, as a wonderful week of world class racing ' after race' parties and "serious fun".

From our lagoon side location right next to the bridge, watch the Mega-Yachts coming into and leaving the Simpson Lagoon.
Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at the Spinnaker Bar and Grill. Good food, great view and cold beers!

Heineken Regatta
The St. Maarten Heineken Regatta is one of the biggest and most
dynamic regatta in the Caribbean and is the Sint Maarten Yacht Club‚Äö most prestigious annual event. Since its inception in 1980 with only 12 entrants, the St. Maarten Heineken Regatta has grown to more than 280 boats with 2,800 crew members of 30 different nationalities.
With four nights of outstanding entertainment to compliment the many days of sailing, it is no wonder the Regatta has as its slogan‚Äö SERIOUS FUN.
Some of the best racing boats and skippers in the Caribbean waters make it a point of honor to participate in this regatta; however newcomers to the racing circuit are more than welcome to take part.
The facilities of the Sint Maarten Yacht Club stages the headquarters of the Regatta where you will find:
