Welcome To St. Maarten Yacht Club

The St. Maarten Yacht Club is the home of the St. Maarten Regatta of which Heineken has been our faithful main sponsor for many years. Our regatta is known throughout the Caribbean and indeed the world, as a wonderful week of world class racing ' after race' parties and "serious fun".

    From our lagoon side location right next to the bridge, watch the Mega-Yachts coming into and leaving the Simpson Lagoon.

    Enjoy Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner at the Spinnaker Bar and Grill. Good food, great view and cold beers!
    (Kitchen closed Monday, Bar open 4pm to 10pm)

    Our open air clubhouse is located on the waterfront of Simpson Bay Lagoon, right next to the bridge. This location has been the home of the St Maarten Yacht Club since 1999, when we started out with a modest clubhouse made out of shipping containers.

    Nowadays our clubhouse is really something to be proud of, with its own restaurant and offices. You could say it is a work in progress as we are continually upgrading and improving our club.

    Our restaurant is a wonderful venue, with a deck overlooking the water. You can sit in the shade or in the sun and enjoy your meal as the multitudes of boats pass through the bridge in front of you. There is parking space for your dinghy on our lagoon dock and limited parking space for your car too.

    As well as the regatta we have an impressive youth sailing program, teaching young kids how to sail Optimists and giving lessons that progress them through Lasers and eventually onto the Sunfast 20’s of Lagoon Sailboat Rentals.
