YOUTH SAILING LESSONS
Our mission is to give our youth the opportunity to learn and enjoy sailing and racing. Sailing nurtures and builds confidence, team skills, self-reliance, physical strength, quick thinking and a love for the environment.
Our lessons are from mo-fr in the afternoon after school, from 3:30PM to 6PM. There is the option to either have 1 or 2 lessons per week. We give our kids the opportunity to choose their own paths, be it cruising or more competitive racing.
Our regular sailing lessons run in a yearly program. Unfortunately it is not possible to join for just a week or month. As an alternative we do private lessons, summer camp and fun sails.

THE FLEET
Currently, we have Optimists, Lasers, RS Quests and Laser Picos. We begin our youth (age 7) in the Optis and continue instructing them to a competative level to age 15.

THE OPTIMIST
The Opti, a worldwide competative boat, is ideal for youth to learn how to sail. Opti champions have gone on to become advanced sailors in all types of boats.

THE LASER PICO
The perfect beginner boat. Either for 2 younger kids together or 1 teenager/smaller adult. The Pico is very easy to rig and sail making it perfect for beginners or those on their way to the Laser or RS Vision. Once you know the boat a bit better it's also a great boat to start your racing career in!

THE LASER
This is a fast pace, single handed and incredibly technical boat. It will challenge you and be greatly rewarding. These lessons are for students 12-18 who are looking for a challenge. Experience needed.

THE RS QUESTS
The RS Quest is the perfect all-round family sailboat.
It's easy to handle and a great training boat for lessons as well as for cruising and racing. After children age out of the Opti program, the next step for them is often a double-hander. This boat is ideal for the older youth who are new to sailing.
